Hello fashionistas! As another week approaches, some of us may be wondering what to wear to work to look as stylish as you do outside the office. If you do not already know this, women get to play with fashion and take style to work in our office outfits. Whether your job is ultra-corporate or incredibly creative, you can wear the perfect mix of office-appropriate dresses, shoes, skirts, bags and sweaters.
Tip: I recommend four stylish yet office appropriate looks. (1) Chic suits – while perfect for any office job, this one will more than likely be boring unless you always wear a statement piece, or add a fun item to your look (shoes, bag, jewellery, watch, lips, nails) (2) Casual business office look. This usually translate to jeans or non traditional office wear. I suggest that you reserve this one for a Friday or a low key day in the office. Always pair casual work outfits with heels, a very smart/feminine top (think silky blouse, men-shirts, structured tops), a blazer and a professional bag. Have fun with accessories and even shoes and bags depending on your job. (3) Simple and Feminine. This look is easy if you love flowy dresses, tiny jewelry. Keep it at least knee-length or over-the-knee in any color or print and pair it with a smart blazer. Heels look better but you can also wear ballet flats. (4) Edgy office Chic. This one is more appropriate for those who work in more creative jobs and have less strict office attire. Therefore, they can add a bit of their own style into their outfits for work: boots, leather, T-shirts, darker lips, nail-art, tennis shoes. This one is actually my favorite because I get to add my own personal styles to my office looks while still looking professional. Take a look.
